Fmr. DOJ Pardon Attorney Slams Lindsey Halligan: She’s a ‘Sham Prosecutor’

‘She has no relevant experience to be in the position that she’s in’

EXCERPT:

OYER: “Lindsey Halligan is a sham prosecutor. She is an insurance lawyer who curried favor with Donald Trump by helping him with the classified documents case. She then became in charge of removing woke ideology from the Smithsonian Museum. She has no relevant experience to be in the position that she’s in. The problem when you have someone like that in this role is that grand juries are a very secretive type of proceeding in which only the prosecution gets to present evidence. The defense is not entitled to hear the evidence, present a defense, challenge the evidence. There’s not even a judge in the room to referee what the prosecutor is presenting. I would love to see what Lindsey Halligan said to those grand jurors. It sounds like she may have actually presented the evidence herself, which is incredibly unusual for someone who is, A, at that high level of the head of the office, and B, brand new to the case to go into a grand jury themselves. But she personally signed the indictment. There’s no indication of the name of any other prosecutor on the charging document, which suggests that she could not find one single other person in the office who was willing to help her bring this case. And if the grand jury testimony eventually comes to light, it will be very interesting to see whether what was presented matches the reality of the situation at all.”
