Charlie Kirk: I Like Matthew McConaughey, ‘But He Was Totally Out of Line’ Discussing Policy He Knows Nothing About
EXCERPT:
KIRK: “Yeah, no doubt. I agree. I think he was totally sincere. I kind of like Matthew McConaughey, too. I really have no bone to pick against him. I think that he loves his state, he’s a good American, but he was totally out of line here. Don’t go to Biden’s White House and start talking about public policy solutions that you have no idea what you’re talking about. Here’s one. So, red flag law sounds good. I think a lot of people have good intentions when they push for this. So, let’s say they push a red flag law and they say terrorists should not be able to own guns. Sounds good. But what’s a terrorist? Well, you and I, Dan, would be considered to be a terrorist. You show up at a school board meeting, according to the FBI and the Department of Justice, you might be a domestic terrorist. The problem is the definition, who actually gets to enforce this. The same government that uses more force against moms and dads that show up to complain about curriculum than they do to actually enforce the gun laws on the books. I don’t like where we are as a country right now, but it’s an unfortunate truth, and you said it perfectly. I don’t trust this government.”
