‘Was that wrong?’

EXCERPT:

BIDEN: "Not a single person's ever suggested that anything I did that was anything other than completely in the interest of the United States of‎ America." [crosstalk]
DIAZ-BALART: "Nothing you did but your son did make a lot of money."
BIDEN: "No."
DIAZ-BALART: "There are‎ -- some reports fifty to eighty thousand dollars a month in an Ukrainian company while you were vice president. Also had dealings with the Chinese, state -- government run company while you were vice president. Was that wrong?"
BIDEN: "No. There's nothing he -- there's nothing to assert that he did anything that was illegal, nothing."
DIAZ-BALART: "Not saying illegal."
BIDEN: "No, OK."
DIAZ-BALART: "Is it wrong?"
BIDEN: "Well I'm not -- look, here is what I'm not going to do. I'm not going to -- and I know you're not intending to do this, play the game to take the eye off the culprit. The culprit here is what may have looked bad but wasn't anything wrong is totally different than whether a president has held up $400 million in aid that --‎for Ukrainian military when Ukrainians are dying, getting shot dead by Russians in uniforms without marks on them, in the Donbass. That is criminal. That is -- can you imagine that. It's like I say -- it's like saying to a governor in a state you have a tragedy, unless you agree to support me next time I run I'm not going to bring any -- I'm not going to allow any federal aid to come to help your citizens. Come on!"
