Fox News: Synagogue Shooter Indicted on 44 Counts By Grand Jury
EXCERPT:
MILLER: "Dana, we've just received word that a federal grand jury has indicted 46-year-old Robert Bowers on 44 criminal counts. Among them a number of hate crimes, only days ago you might recall a criminal complaint charged him with 29 counts. Now that is up to 44 counts. Among them 11 counts of obstruction of free exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death. There are 11 counts for the use and discharge of a firearm to commit murder. It is alleged Bowers used three handguns and an AR-15 style semiautomatic during his rampage. The Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, said and I quote, 'hatred and violence on the basis of religion have no place in our society.' Yesterday President Trump paid a visit to Pittsburgh to show support and solidarity for the community. And Mr. Trump this morning reflecting on that visit, sent out a tweet. It said, 'Melania and I were treated very nicely in Pittsburgh. The Office of the President was shown great respect on a very sad and solemn day. We were treated so warmly. Small protest was not seen by us, staged far away. The fake news stories were just the opposite. Disgraceful.' Now, the President was reacting to hundreds of protesters who took to the streets to accuse him of rhetoric that they believe incited violence. Supporters of the President were also there speaking out. This city that is united in grief, also remains divided regarding how they feel about the President. Listen."
