Grabien Goes Global: Platform Now Operational in Multiple Languages

02/25/2022

Media Colleagues —

Today we’re excited to announce the start of our next stage of development: International. We believe Grabien’s media production platform adds value not only here in the United States, but everywhere in the world. As such, we’ve recently updated our editing suite so that it works in six new languages:

— Spanish

— Catalan

— Portuguese

— German

— French

— Italian

We’ve already begun capturing news content in Brazil and Spain, and will soon add the UK. This means our suite of popular production tools — the LiveClipper, NewsMonitor, NewsBase, etc. — now work just as easily with Spanish and Brazilian news content as they do American.

What does this mean for our existing clients? Well, if you ever need to capture a foreign language news event, you can use LiveShare and select the foreign language of the event. This also means that in the event you need clips from foreign news sources, Grabien will increasingly have that content available.

As always, if there are ever specific stations you’d like to see added, please contact us

Incidentally, speaking of LiveShare, we’ve also recently added a key upgrade: Now if you start capturing a stream after it’s begun, you can select “rewind stream,” and LiveShare will attempt capturing the event from its beginning.

Happy Friday, & Happy Clipping,

Grabien
