New features, new programming, new pricing!
Dear, Media Colleagues —
Who could use some good news? Today Grabien is excited to announce the latest round of upgrades to our platform.
1) Most substantially, we are now in the process of adding Nielsen ratings data to all of our recordings. Thus far we have added this data to the following stations:
— MSNBC
— CNN
— Fox News Channel (FNC)
— CNBC
— NBC
— CBS
— Comedy Central
— ABC
— Fox Business Network
— NewsmaxTV
— NewsNation
— Court TV
In the coming week or two, we hope to also have this data available for the local programming we're monitoring.
Ratings data, and their respective, projected earned media value, are now visible on the NewsClipper (to the left of the player); in the alerts notifications for ClipsBank and NewsBase alerts; and in CutList transcript files.
2) In the Grabien database, shows' profile pages now include ratings data for all Enterprise users; others will see a "contact us" link for accessing this data.
3) On users' alerts schedule, you can now adjust the settings on the alerts schedule. On the user alerts settings page (Account - Alerts - Settings), a new alerts frequency option has been added that allows users to receive alerts at any desired hours of the day.
4) Grabien HitsList. A brand new feature that offers clients the ability to start their day with a list of all their media mentions over the last 24 hours, including ratings data and earned media value when applicable.
5) Vastly improved WebClipper processing times. Previously, processing some online videos with high resolution and duration took a really long time. From time to time, we had clips with more than 30 minutes of processing time. Now, because of the smarter downloading process and and an improved video codecs setup, the processing time for such videos has decreased up to by 20-30 times.
6) NewsMonitor has a new option to not add all new stations by default. It's useful for those who need to track only a few specific stations.
7) If you have access to Grabien's API, you can now track statistics of API calls on the Account - Statistics page.
8) We have a number of additions on the programming front:
— WBUP-TV (ABC 10; Ishpeming, Mich.)
— WZMQ-TV (MeTV/CBS 19; Marquette, Mich.)
— Rich on Tech (radio show)
— Jason Chaffetz In The House (radio show)
— The Bret Baier Show (radio show)
— Roger Stone (radio show)
— Jim Acosta Show (online show)
— Hasan Piker Show (online show)
— The Joy Reid Show (online show)
9) Finally, a pricing update on clips purchased from Grabien's ClipsBank.
To address the large discrepancy between clips procured through the ClipsBank and clip orders, where clients order the editing of specific clips from our productions staff, the price on ClipsBank clips has increased. The new pricing:
Audio clip: 250 Grabien coins
Video clip: 500 Grabien coins
(1,000 Grabien coins cost $10.)
We know many of our OG radio clients still rely on Grabien coins for the majority of their clips, so we would like to offer any such impacted clients to please contact us to discuss a discounted Enterprise account.
That's it for today.
Happy Friday, & happy clipping!
Tom Elliott, Grabien
