Search Restored + New Features + New Coverage

07/11/2025

Media Colleagues —

First, we apologize again for the service disruption over the last 24 hours with Grabien’s search tools. The good news is that searches within our various databases are now fully restored, and we’re now working to ensure this issue never recurs.

Next, in response to client requests, we have a number of new features to announce:

  1. Users can export playlists or search results on the User Media page to an Excel file with filenames and links to files.
  2. Production invoices can be paid via PayPal.
  3. On the page of a finished LiveShare, the owner of the recording can download the transcript of the recording.
  4. On the LiveShare page, the owner of the recording can see usernames and the number of clips created from this recording. For recordings that are currently on air, this list has real-time updates.
  5. The Account menu of the user account now includes the Downloads page, where users can see the list of downloaded clips. This can help users understand how many downloads they’ve used over the last 30 days.
  6. Even if a user has unsubscribed from all Grabien notifications, all alerts created by the user are still active and available on the account Alerts history page. The user just does not receive email notifications about them.
  7. Emails about paid invoices now include the first line of the invoice in the description instead of just the invoice number.
  8. The CutList transcript file now contains a preview image, clip date, show information, and a clip title that also works as a link to the file on the Grabien website.
  9. The "Get link" window that allows users to obtain a link to the player with the file now contains an option to disable the download button in the player.
  10. The PhotoBank photo page now contains a new block with similar photos.
  11. The ClipsBank now has an expanded database called "Junkyard," where you can find clips with metadata matching your search criteria that our staffers haven’t explicitly added to the ClipsBank.
  12. Search for persons in banks now displays items with all entered persons instead of any of these persons, as was the case before.
  13. If any filters are not entered on the bank page, the total number of results and links to the last bank page are not displayed. This allows the results to be displayed on the page almost twice as fast.
  14. Recorded radio shows are now available on the market page in CityMonitor.
  15. WebClipper downloads have also been upgraded and improved.
