Weingarten But Senator Sanders ░░░░░░░░ Senator Markey see it ░░░░░░░░ they not only are ░░░░░░░░ thank you for your ░░░░░░░░ to the nation they ░░░░░░░░ saying we understand we ░░░░░░░░ to use politics to ░░░░░░░░ problems and these two ░░░░░░░░ are bills that are ░░░░░░░░ to solve problems So ░░░░░░░░ you Applause So and ░░░░░░░░ both spoke so much ░░░░░░░░ their bills it feels ░░░░░░░░ obvious as to what ░░░░░░░░ are intended to do ░░░░░░░░ let me say two ░░░░░░░░ things about them Number ░░░░░░░░ educators will do everything ░░░░░░░░ can do regardless of ░░░░░░░░ they get paid Educators ░░░░░░░░ money out of their ░░░░░░░░ for our children regardless ░░░░░░░░ what they get paid ░░░░░░░░ find ways to give ░░░░░░░░ coats in the winter ░░░░░░░░ of what you get ░░░░░░░░ or sneak food regardless ░░░░░░░░ what you get paid ░░░░░░░░ this is going to ░░░░░░░░ harder next year because ░░░░░░░░ Big Ugly Bill is ░░░░░░░░ to make kids make ░░░░░░░░ sicker hungrier and poorer ░░░░░░░░ today having these two ░░░░░░░░ being introduced I can ░░░░░░░░ through all the statistics ░░░░░░░░ Senator Sanders did I ░░░░░░░░ not going to I ░░░░░░░░ just going to say ░░░░░░░░ two bills what they ░░░░░░░░ is they send a ░░░░░░░░ from sea to shining ░░░░░░░░ that it is important ░░░░░░░░ a district can t ░░░░░░░░ this this is the ░░░░░░░░ of the federal government ░░░░░░░░ lift up a base ░░░░░░░░ paraprofessionals to lift up ░░░░░░░░ base for school teachers ░░░░░░░░ it shouldn t depend ░░░░░░░░ whether people in a ░░░░░░░░ can do that And ░░░░░░░░ two it sends a ░░░░░░░░ far and wide that ░░░░░░░░ is a national goal ░░░░░░░░ a national priority And ░░░░░░░░ of dismantling education this ░░░░░░░░ nothing to do with ░░░░░░░░ local school boards or ░░░░░░░░ districts should run education ░░░░░░░░ believe they should but ░░░░░░░░ says this is a ░░░░░░░░ priority Our students are ░░░░░░░░ national priority Education and ░░░░░░░░ education and higher education ░░░░░░░░ a national priority If ░░░░░░░░ want to be nation ░░░░░░░░ if we want to ░░░░░░░░ a future in this ░░░░░░░░ this is a national ░░░░░░░░ And that means our ░░░░░░░░ and our paraprofessionals who ░░░░░░░░ the ones who teach ░░░░░░░░ they must be a ░░░░░░░░ priority too.” (Applause)
