QUICK Darren California sued ░░░░░░░░ back in September they ░░░░░░░░ deception about plastics recycling ░░░░░░░░ had the California attorney ░░░░░░░░ here on set with ░░░░░░░░ and he said They ░░░░░░░░ and they lied when ░░░░░░░░ about recycling not being ░░░░░░░░ when it comes to ░░░░░░░░ Where does that lawsuit ░░░░░░░░ and what do you ░░░░░░░░ about it WOODS Well ░░░░░░░░ think the attorney general ░░░░░░░░ agenda was made pretty ░░░░░░░░ to anybody that was ░░░░░░░░ your show when he ░░░░░░░░ on I mean frankly ░░░░░░░░ didn t know what ░░░░░░░░ was talking about He ░░░░░░░░ in with I think ░░░░░░░░ very hollow set of ░░░░░░░░ points repeated them pretty ░░░░░░░░ but I think obvious ░░░░░░░░ everybody watching that he ░░░░░░░░ more interested in soundbites ░░░░░░░░ sound science and a ░░░░░░░░ more interested in attacking ░░░░░░░░ company than attacking the ░░░░░░░░ of plastic waste I ░░░░░░░░ if the attorney general ░░░░░░░░ to do something for ░░░░░░░░ and to improve the ░░░░░░░░ he should work with ░░░░░░░░ like ExxonMobil who have ░░░░░░░░ solutions that are necessary ░░░░░░░░ solve what is a ░░░░░░░░ challenging problem and focus ░░░░░░░░ on firing up his ░░░░░░░░ oil and gas base ░░░░░░░░ advance his own political ░░░░░░░░ That s kind of ░░░░░░░░ I see this playing ░░░░░░░░ He they don t ░░░░░░░░ a strong basis the ░░░░░░░░ continues to be there ░░░░░░░░ re obviously going to ░░░░░░░░ that But I think ░░░░░░░░ we look forward to ░░░░░░░░ forward and demonstrating that ░░░░░░░░ our company has been ░░░░░░░░ in this space is ░░░░░░░░ trying to address what ░░░░░░░░ a serious problem around ░░░░░░░░ world while we continue ░░░░░░░░ maintain the really important ░░░░░░░░ that plastics play in ░░░░░░░░ the needs of people ░░░░░░░░ around the world I ░░░░░░░░ t think folks fully ░░░░░░░░ ahead KERNEN You saw ░░░░░░░░ interview Darren because at ░░░░░░░░ end he was like ░░░░░░░░ that some of it ░░░░░░░░ going into jet fuel ░░░░░░░░ goes Well it s ░░░░░░░░ into jet fuel I ░░░░░░░░ Well you came here ░░░░░░░░ California right He goes ░░░░░░░░ I said Did you ░░░░░░░░ He goes Well yeah ░░░░░░░░ have to travel It ░░░░░░░░ like it was it ░░░░░░░░ just glaringly funny Jet ░░░░░░░░ seems like a good ░░░░░░░░ for some of it ░░░░░░░░ We do need jet ░░░░░░░░ globally WOODS So I ░░░░░░░░ the point that s ░░░░░░░░ and one of the ░░░░░░░░ stepout advantages with the ░░░░░░░░ recycling technology is the ░░░░░░░░ with recycling today is ░░░░░░░░ s mechanical so you ░░░░░░░░ taking existing products chopping ░░░░░░░░ up and trying to ░░░░░░░░ that back together again ░░░░░░░░ has a couple problems ░░░░░░░░ the modern plastics today ░░░░░░░░ can t do that ░░░░░░░░ all those plastics And ░░░░░░░░ you have a degraded ░░░░░░░░ just based on mechanical ░░░░░░░░ of what comes out ░░░░░░░░ that mixing and blending ░░░░░░░░ What we re doing ░░░░░░░░ the plastics we take ░░░░░░░░ much broader set of ░░░░░░░░ we re actually taking ░░░░░░░░ back to the beginning ░░░░░░░░ the process and like ░░░░░░░░ do with crude that ░░░░░░░░ into a refinery breaking ░░░░░░░░ plastic down back to ░░░░░░░░ molecular components and those ░░░░░░░░ components then flow through ░░░░░░░░ process and come out ░░░░░░░░ the products based on ░░░░░░░░ weight of the molecules ░░░░░░░░ you re basically reconstituting ░░░░░░░░ plastics to its fundamental ░░░░░░░░ and then bringing it ░░░░░░░░ into the product value ░░░░░░░░ So some of it ░░░░░░░░ end up in petroleum ░░░░░░░░ and fuel some of ░░░░░░░░ will end up in ░░░░░░░░ plastics but the real ░░░░░░░░ here is that you ░░░░░░░░ recycling that in its ░░░░░░░░ and bringing it back ░░░░░░░░ the system and by ░░░░░░░░ backing out virgin feed ░░░░░░░░ additional crude So it ░░░░░░░░ true recycling And the ░░░░░░░░ advantage there is you ░░░░░░░░ do it with a ░░░░░░░░ of different plastics and ░░░░░░░░ get the same qualities ░░░░░░░░ advantages of virgin plastics ░░░░░░░░ it s a stepout ░░░░░░░░ it s one that ░░░░░░░░ going to be needed ░░░░░░░░ forward and something actually ░░░░░░░░ attorney general should be ░░░░░░░░ rather than fighting us ░░░░░░░░
